This is my older brother's family. He asked me to scroll them as a Christmas gift to his ex-wife (don't ask LOL). I was
originally going to cut them on my standard size board and after creating the patterns I realized that I needed something larger
and decided on this method instead.
I used 1/4" Oak ply for the faces and the backboard. I first removed the larger areas, stained them black, then put the pieces back
into the faces. The frame is made from Bloodwood that was originally tongue and groove flooring. The slot was perfect to slide the back
board into and all I had to to was remove the tongue.
